I am in Port townsend at the moment and returning to Canada in a day or two. Waiting for a big snow to pass my route. I have a teaching day scheduled at the hip clinic Apr 9 and surgery after that. 1-3 months possibly.. I'm certain you will be welcome.

I spent some time around Quartzsite in november.. stayed at roadrunner blm south of town. Very few people then and met a fun couple from BC. Excellent meatloaf at the coyote market. I understand... my osteoarthritis has progressed to the point that I have to find new amusements and forgo some others. I fully planned on riding alpine snowboards in my 70's and enjoying free lift tickets. Last ride was age 70 some years ago. Now slowing down but still happy to be out here...

First stop for me will be Olympic Penninsula later this month. Then south for winter in the desert. Hot springs, Blue Angels practice flights, various events. Dentist in Los Algadones. I'll keep up here and see where you might be on the northbound leg.. love to pet those dogs. Safe travels.....
