That's too high for a transmission, even lower if you swap in known good used. Having said that, I would stick to an LR3. Probably the best (modern) vehicle Land Rover ever made. I miss my '05.
T-Mobile USA has great international rates/coverage (free data, albeit throttled in many countries), pair that with a dual SIM phone to buy locally (or buy an esim) you're good to go.

OMG no, stop. The LR4 weighs almost 6000 lbs and is a unibody built on top of a separate ladder frame. Not a sports car at all, despite the 0-60 time.
