Hey, JSC, on your heater controls, did you look at the vacuum pot directly below the dash, front and center? My '91 Burb has a vacuum line connection about 10" from the right of the gas pedal (think I knocked it off last time with the shop-vac hose). Good Luck Brother.

I put some a warn kit on a '78 Blazer I once had...as I recall, they worked well, went on easy, and weren't very costly. Probably go with Warn again.

Thanks for the feedback John. The running boards were on the Burb when I got her. I think they are a generic bolt-on from the 90's. Good little compressor for $58 bucks. lately I noticed the 30 watt solar panel hasn't maintained the...

New Years Day Ran down to the Carrizo Plains National Monument on New Years Day. Wide-open spaces, dirt roads, almost deserted. In fact, the wife tried tuning-in some radio stations just to see if Armageddon had begun without us...:yikes:

I know what you mean, JSC, once the rack was on, the list of things we "should" take with us began to grow. Also, thanks for your service, Marine.

Ended up mounting front light bar at bottom front of rack...it was making an awful low-pitch howling at highway speeds, amplified by the black-board sized roof.

Here we are roughing-in the new rack for the Suburban. My friend Ryan Dean can weld!... The rack is sized to carry full sheets of plywood, luggage, skis, whatever... Built with heavy-wall aluminum tubing, it is very light, yet strong with ten widely spaced pads rivet-nutted to the roof.
