I ponied up for the quick disconnect Rhinorack towers, so I just unlock each one, release the lock tabs and then pulley the entire rack/tent/awning off the roof at once!
I bought some 1/4" thick by 1.25" wide steel bar stock and cut and drilled my own mounting brackets. About 9" long, this way the Tepui mounting bars connect directly to the rack surface, sparing me an extra inch of height and allowing me to just (1/4" clearance) drive into my 8' door.
