Prior to my 15 years of Land cruiser ownership, I owned a disco I, and disco II. Loved them, but, the inherent maintenance nightmares they induced, drove me to Toyota. I could never go back based on those experiences. Maybe this thread should be changed to: why are landcruisers so expensive...
