I do it about every 3500 to 4k in my F150.
Not many F150s with flatbeds though is right. I have a 2013 I've been tossing around the idea of a flatbed but not many great pictures out there. Might just make my own.
I have no clue what your plans for use are, but if it were me I would get rid of a few of the crossmembers on the roof. Will cut weight and it would be unnecessarily strong. I would also add something more than a 1" square tube across the top of the camper, something more like a 1x3 or 1x4...
Get something designed properly to take the slop out. I have a 1up rack that doesn't move at all. I know Kuat has a similar anti-wobble design, but I prefer 1up.

I replaced my F150 leaf packs (1500lb) with the General Springs HD 2500lb packs and was hoping to gain some height to get back rake but I also saw very little - about 1/2 inch. The truck rides much better now, but I'll probably buy some new...

You can stand in these when they're off the vehicle, right? As in drop it at camp and use it that way?
Wow, impressive build! I want to build something like this someday, but at least now I know about Kingdom Campers and can have them build it for me if I want!
