I am getting on and thinking about after work life. I plan on living the van life when I quit working. I have been looking for an older American van with factory OG 4WD. Was looking for a Chevy E30 Pathfinder 4WD or a Ford E350 Quadravan.

I found my 86 Ford E350 Quadravan in Hornbrook, CA recently. Amazingly straight and rust free. The only real rot to mention is under trhe drivers feet which is not uncommon. The van was previously owned by a guy that used it to get to remote stream to goldmine. The racks that were on it when I purchased it held hose for pulling gravel from streams while mining. The guy would get into the van with his wetsuit on apparently. He covered it with a steel plate rivited into place... I'll need to fix that soon.

I'm also going to have to learn some things I know nothing about! Sweet!
