Open to suggestions, new trailer buy - small off road worthy.

    Overkill Campers

I know your question was directed to @PNW_PW but I’ll chime in on this too… My wife and I also ordered a Ranger model from TearDrop NorthWest (TDNW). Our experience was just as PNW said…simple process, minimal up-front money, a wealth of options available, on-time delivery, great...

Better brands and places to get recovery equipment (shackles, etc.)?

You never know if the OTHER guy has recovery points that will be kind...

Switching my life to "not Jeans". Can I get some recomendations for good NON JEANS

Can’t remember if I’ve piped up here before, but Kuhl makes some really great stuff. Their “Hot Ryder” pants are flannel lined, very tough, super comfortable and look good.

4Runner Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier

Unless you can somehow access your rear storage area without needing to first swing the tire carrier out of the way, I think you will quickly regret the tire carrier idea. Unpinning, swinging out, swinging in and then re-pinning that carrier EVERY time you get into the back hatch gets very old...
