I agree, the more I read the modifications list the more it doesnt really make sense unless im building a chase truck. I lean towards "buy once, cry once" so bang for the buck is what I keep in the forefront of my mind. I wouldn't want to go bigger than 35s so I can keep the spare in the factory...
Yeah not to mention every extremely capable Tundra I have seen has had a mid travel lift, and some other goodies but can go anywhere you want (and at times exceed the performance of the driver). I don't aspire to be a rock crawler, in fact your build and use case are ideal. I need to be...
Hey all,
Recently picked up a 2019 Tundra and love it. I am looking into different suspension setups and I really like the ICON CDEV because it allows adjustments on the fly, however I am also considering tried and true King, Fox, etc. in that same vein I am starting to consider long travel as...
Not to mention the insane price tag, I’ve seen a few of the new sequoias and I thought I was the outlier because that trunk is almost unusable due to the raised floor.
I’d like to get my wife a Tahoe and I’d have something that gets me around and fits my lifestyle
I forgot to mention that we will be getting something for my wife ie a long road tripper.
My dogs are Border-Collie Poodle mixes and there’s definitely a lot of Collie in my girl 😂
Love the 4R and I'm currently in an aging 470 and room is definitely a shortcoming. I think I'll look at the sequoias and Tundras and see which best fits my needs.
That is one happy doggo!
I think we plan on having atleast 1 more kid, but given that twins run in both families, we can't rule anything out. This is the 2nd reco for a sequoia! I'll have to look around atleast
I've always wanted a truck, although like you mentioned the Tacomas would be perfect for me i.e size, bed, fuel but anything more and it really starts to get uncomfortable with more people and longer trips. I'm in a 470 but like I mentioned previously I don't have time anymore for little repairs...
I'm in a GX470 but I've quickly come to realize it is aging for the worse and I don't have time anymore for these onesie/twosie repairs. The engine is fine no CEL etc, I'm just tired of fixing stuff lol
Tbh I think I'd rather go for a Tundra vs. sequoia given they are basically the same vehicle...
My wife and I have one child but will have more, not mention we have two mid-sized doggos!
We’re in VA but want to make the move to CO.
Edit: added to main body.
I have a $35k budget and looking to get into something that will last me around 5-10 years for myself, wife, my son (and future kiddos), and two dogs. It will be a commuter 98% of the time while the rest will be used for camping, fishing, hunting, etc. I love the utility of a truck but trucks...
Not trying to hijack OP post but there’s a lot good information here.
What are everyone’s thoughts on a 2018-2020 Colorado bison ? Diesel or gas? What about a raptor? I’ve always wanted a tundra but these Colorados and such are growing on me.
