That's actually a super deep storage well; it's like close to 20" deep. I'm using it for my 42gal gray tank. For sure! Come visit us in FW; it's an easy flight into DFW. We hosted two groups last week; reach out if you want to setup a quick trip-

Hey SootyCamper, We'll test the doors more once we're conditioned inside but the shell of the door is a block of foam with an aluminum skin and a double paned (acrylic) lite. There's a few companies on Alibaba making very similar doors and I feel good about this one but if there's issues, we'll...

The shells come without any cutouts aside from the entry door and fixed skylight - those are generally handled by the person / company doing the finish out. The cargo doors aft of the rear axle are set but all other cutouts (aside from the entry door and fixed skylight) are handled by the...

Both are true. I wanted to build a 550 expedition vehicle and the only way to justify the up front cost of moulds was to make shells available to other up-fitters and DIY adventure enthusiasts. My post shows my personal build.

Cost was about what I expected; the time spent is quite "overbudget". I was expecting maybe a year. Cost wise, we're well into 6 figures on moulds and first articles. Put another way, I've spent more than my first house (15 years ago) but I couldn't have bought a new Earthroamer.

I recently drove it out to the LBJ Grasslands with my buddy, Aaron, and took some photos and drone footage. Long term I don’t plan to do anything too extreme while traveling but it had no problem with the hills I tried. I used to joke that I didn’t expect anything this big to be much more...

Hey EP fam, long time observer first time post(er), For the last 4 years I’ve been dreaming about, designing, and ultimately bringing to life my dream North-American expedition vehicle. I thought you might enjoy my story. Birth of an idea In 2021 my wife and I took a road trip from Texas to...

    FULLY UPGRADED: F-550 Lariat 203" WB / 19500GVWR - BYO EPIC RIG

Ford F-550 Lariat SuperDuty with off-road package; loaded with upgrades. This is basically a brand new truck and still covered under Ford’s bumper to bumper warranty. I was planning to put a custom built camper bed on the truck (similar to EarthRoamer) but my wife and I are expecting. Priorities...
