Technical differences between the Wrangler J8 and the Rubicon? (early 200's version)

Thanks for the feedback! Intresting that the already stronger D44 got another upgrade. So i guess there are braces welded on the frame? As far as i know the normal Wrangler frame rails are not that big or thick in dimension compared to a LC 200 or Patrol, but of course anything can be...

Technical differences between the Wrangler J8 and the Rubicon? (early 200's version)

Hello, there is a rare chance to maybe get a Jeep J8 now, which was always an interesting vehicle to me but of course rather exotic. Now the Wrangler as a base vehicle, even the stronger Rubicon version, is not really something i would compare to a Patrol or big land Cruiser when it comes to...

Driven front axles in older Super Dutys above F-350

Hello, so i found a very rare F-450 in Europe (https://autoline.de/-/Verkauf/Abschleppwagen/Ford/F-450--25052012010576942900) and am a bit confused about one detail. So as far as people explained it to me in this very forum, one of the potential upsides of the older Super Dutys is the narrower...

    F 250 Tremor = F 350 rear axle?

Yeah that does make sense, but over here F-250's are way more common and tremor versions become more common, so this might be a nice option. You can get an upgrade in payload here if the technical side checks out anyways. Never truly understood the reason for the existance of the two versions...

    F 250 Tremor = F 350 rear axle?

Ok so the F 250 Tremor differs more to the "normal F 250" compared to the F-350 then right? Because for the F 350 its just an offroad package basically correct?

    F 250 Tremor = F 350 rear axle?

Hello, i heard that the Tremor package upgrades the F250 rear axle to the one under the F-350 - is that correct? Never understood why these similiar trucks had differente rears in the SRW version to begin with, but if that where the case, i dont see any other difference anymore aside from one...

    Differences Ram 2/3500 and 4/5500

Now i was almost close to call the thing of due to complete lack of cars, and then this comes along: https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/dodge-ram-3500-chassis-cab-fahrgestell-6-4-hemi-4x4/3053879629-216-4397 Now since its a chassis cap we have to compare Ford&Ram in this version. As far...

Differences Hummer EV / Silverado EV in terms of frame, suspension, engines

Hello, since the Hummer EV was kinda the daddy of the Silverado/GMC EV pickup, i wonder how similiar they are under the skin. Since the dimensions and the GVW and max towing are similiar, with the Hummer having a slightly higher GVW of 10550 and the Silverado 10350 as far as i know and both...

3rd Gen Silverado HD rear axles differences 2500/3500

So wait, the GM 2500's hat a bigger rear axle, but the same ring size as Ford? Or is there a contradiction between the last 2 posts?

3rd Gen Silverado HD rear axles differences 2500/3500

Oh interesting, because with the Ford you only get the stronger rear axle with the F-350, not matter the engine

3rd Gen Silverado HD rear axles differences 2500/3500

So the same axle but still different sized diff? Sometimes i wonder if its really this much cheaper this way. But ok, i guess then its the same with all 3 trucks.

3rd Gen Silverado HD rear axles differences 2500/3500

Hello, right now there is a rare opportunity here in Germany to a GMC 2500, the by far rarest of the HD trucks. Now i know the IFS can be upgraded quite a bit even here street legal and as far as i know it only differs in terms of suspension stiffness between 2500 to 3500. But how about the...

Ineos Grenadier frame compared to the original Defender

Yeah i read the same about the thickness, which is the same as Mercedes wrote about the old G-Wagon frame. But at least from a look i got once the rails look larger then the G#s

Ineos Grenadier frame compared to the original Defender

Well i guess that is in the end your opinion. Anybody here who own a Grenadier and might be willing to help out with the measurements?
