I assume the 120V heating element has a standard threaded fitting and that you could swap it out for a 12V/24V DC element? It would be awesome to use a DC element as a solar dump load and as the primary heat source in the summer when you wouldn't want to run the diesel heater.
I happened to be at the recycling center yesterday and ran it over the scale. It weighed 7,120lbs with me (~180lbs) in it plus the aluminum cargo slide (~150lbs). So 10,000lbs GVRW - curb weight of 7,120lbs = 2,880lbs payload. 3,030lbs if you ditch the cargo slide.
@Victorian I know you were concerned about tip over risks with deeper cab over sections on empty slide-ins in the past. Any chance there will be a 2.0 with a 60" cab over? Even pushing it to 54" (full size mattress width) would be very helpful with fitting everything into the smaller slide-in...
