- Taking long camping trips in more remote areas, being self sufficient and able get yourself out of a jam when you get yourself into one. Paved roads are only a necessary evil to get to the dirt/gravel. I primitive camping spot or hole in the trees with a view is preferred to packed campsites that you can find on a map.
