    Jaleo 2- Building a 2012 E-350 4x4-Third time is the charm

I got a new van! My van was originally from Oklahoma. I was not aware of them using salt on the roads. After painting the van and fixing some of the rust spots on the rocker panesl, some rust came back. Rather than chasing spots forever, I got a van with a good body, and I'll draft the whole...

I do not think they will work on a TTB setup. These are intended for Solid F350 axles (The description on Amazon is wrong) Amazon Link: Superlift Arms.

These are not 4 links. They are Superlift radius arms. I like them because they have adjustable camber, so you can dial them to avoid the Dead Wobble, and they provide a little bit more clearance. This is a generic pic from the manufacturer.

Front Coils and Shock absorbers. Another front set of shock absorbers has blown out. I do not have a lot of flex, and travel is quite bad. The shock absorbers are working as limiting device on the down travel, and that's not helping. I spend a lot of time on three wheels. I have the MG...

Yes, that picture is almost at the top of Mount Sneffels, so I was at around 14,000 ft. It was gorgeous. I live for this stuff.

Trip to Moab and then Colorado. We started doing the Rim Rocker. The Main trail is not difficult at all, but we decided to take a detour. The trail to the Big Johnson Mine (I think that's the name) proved to be a challenge. One trailer flipped, and since there was no way to make a U-turn, we...

Not really. He spotted me in the first section. After I passed, the van tilted, and he was in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

This summer, we were up for a challenge. San Juan Mountains in Colorado, including Ophir Pass, black Bear Pass, Poughkeepsie Gulch, Engineer Pass and some others. On the gear department, I modified the trunk to fit these boxes snugly between the bed rails and the center floor rail My...

I love the Maxx Air fan because it's quiet, and the dome can stay open during the rain. What I do not like are the controls, especially when they fail. On my previous van (Rig Runner) and on this one, whenever I try to run full speed, it shuts down and starts beeping until I pull the fuse. So I...

You are right. I should have said east NM. We passed by Cloudcroft, and it was a beautiful area. I wish we had checked the railroad.

Spent a few days in New Mexico with the North Texas Overland gang. Good times, good people. South NM is quite arid and dramatic. The northern part is more to my liking, with a more Alpine vibe. Most of the Forest Roads were closed for winter even though they didn't seem to have lots of snow. We...
