My 2002 GMC 2500HD 6.0 and 1990 M101A2 and converted canoe hauler. They have both been fun toys.

Mine is held in with a nylock wing nut and a bungee.

Great start for a build M101a1 with lunette and a2 8 bolt axle. They are great trailers!

Looks like the spring mounts front and rear bolt to the spring risers. Could you put a 2" spacer between with longer bolts? As said above a longer shackle only gives 1/2 lift increase per inch, also looks terrible as it does not allow the wheel to center in the fender.
