The suggestion above about setting up a base camp and exploring from there is a good one
The trailer could do part of the Alpine loop depending on which way you go. The switchbacks up the Engineer would be a problem and even up cinimmon could be challenging. The alpine loop can be easily...
Last year I replaced my shocks. The shocks were still fine, but I was looking for more damping to the sway at highway speeds 75-80MPH on bumpy stretches or just poor highways at lower speed limits.
I contacted KK and they have some new Profenda shocks (Never heard of them) custom designed for...
I found a few via google search like this one

I know it doesn't help you much since mine isn't for sale, but I can see why adding bunks is hard. I have the bunks option even though I never use them.
The integrated rail behind the long bench has slots for pins for one of the cushions. Legs are attached to the other side
If your vehicle height is like mine you can drive into my garage and we can lower it down and install it. The below picture shows my Alu Cab RTT and my Daughters CVT RTT in my garage.
The Summit is the higher build quality CVT Tent series.
It has a USB Port and led lights
This was my daughters RTT and they used it twice. They now have a son and it was too small wiith the 3 of them.
It comes with the extended room. I don't have pictures of that on. It zips on to the...
That one is HUGE and one of the main reasons I picked the Karavan. I have had other campers out side and they age quickly. Though this one would have held up better, but no sense in aging it with hot/cold cycles and weather when you can keep your investment nice and cozy in the garage.
what's a series 7?
I love it goes anywhere I go. It sets up quick without the awning.
The stock heater was poor and I replaced with a diesel heater
I upgraded to the shocks the new ones are built with
It takes a while to deploy the awning. Mine is bigger than the current awning. Mine has...
Kind of a smaller version of my Karavan with no setup required to sleep. Smaller with no inside kitchen or sink. Shower and bathroom is via a zip on through the 2nd door. It is a King sized bed though
If I didn't already have my Karavan I would be looking at this.
Bigger than a teardrop and...
That is a great point. I bought an Offroad Jayco that feel apart on washboard roads, not even a trail or any obstacles
The thing that sold me on the Kimberley is that it is designed for the Australian outback which can be unforgiving. It isn't like you can drive into town to get aa part. I...
I wouldnt be able to take an Airstream to this campsite in the San Rafael Swell. Not a challenging trail in, but the bumps, dips and washboard road would play havoc on a road built camper. Like stated earlier. It depends on where you want to go
I am always reading about the new campers just to see what is out there as my daughter will soon be in the market. It surprises me that some are just a few inches too tall to fit in an 8ft garage. I think the Dweller is one even though the posted specs said it should fit. Don't get me wrong...
