I hear ya. I wanted a new one, and almost pulled the trigger but in my opinion, it drove like my 82 land cruiser under 4k rpm. I'm not one for high rpm driving unless its doritos on a stick. Then I found my Tundra and fell in love. Now if only I could get that 4.7 with a manual behind it....

Or save some cash, buy a late model gen 1 tundra! Size of a taco, with a v8! Haha But as with everyone here, I'd take a new taco

1 3/4 x 120 HREW steel tube is what brute force fab uses for tubing. I can measure mine officially when I get home in 2 hours or so

Awesome thread, I'll be following this. Duratracs are terrible and mine have a vibe like yours around 68-72. Was worse because my wheel bearings were shot and I had a u joint on the way out. Now the truck rides smooth in its 302k mile glory. I also love the look of the brute force fab stuff...
