I have a cb in the truck, dont use it much but it has the weather channel so it is good for that. I was wondering if there has been any talk of a spring time meet and greet?

Istzephyr thanks for the pics. my spring are just like your old ones, did you have to alter the steering when you lifted it?

Thank you guys for the info. This is the first of these trucks I have owned. I would like a little more travel. I think a 2 or 2.5 inch lift is in order. Any suggestions?

My 91 w350 diesel only has about 1 1/2 inches between the spring and the bumpers on the frame, and the bumpers are getting beat up. Does anyone know how much space there should be in there? The suspension is stock. Thanks for any replies.

Are going to put the tubes inside or out side the body? An interior cage with plates on top( to bolt the rack to through the roof) might be one way to go. The shorter the tubes the less they will flex.

4 miles south of the airport. I have put a nice camper shell on my truck, and the rack went on to my now finished truck bed trailer. Pictures as soon as the weather gets better.

southwest steel near ajo and country club is where I get all my stuff. I have the frame work for the camper box made but have to save up for the sheet metal to skin it next. So I know how waiting sucks.

I have been a metal fab guy for 6 years or so now. t is a lot of fun to make your own stuff and save so cash. I look forward to see your next project.
