So after getting things repainted and doing another fit check of the tent I realized that in order to shift it as far back as I wanted I needed to remove a welded on tab. I finally got things where I wanted them and was ablet to mount the tent for good. Last step was to get the new awning bag...
I ended up ordering a set of awning brackets and a new cover for the awning. This past weekend I managed to work on getting the brackets mounted, the welded brackets ground off, the electrical box removed, and touched up the paint on the rack.

We did a lot more hiking in the fall and winter of 2020/21. We also managed to do a few Jeep camping trips with ground tents which were a nice change of pace.
This was a one of the local hiking trailheads.
I ordered one of the small folding 'my tables' and it looks like it's going to work perfect with our chairs to have a place to set drinks, books, etc.
I was a little disappointed when I turned it over and found that it was made in China though. ?
The ones I went with were aftermarket from Amazon (Depo brand). I've had them on 5 years now and they are starting to show some of the same aging signs the OEM ones did.
