New Camper Build Planning - Considering NPR (USA) - Feedback Welcomed

TL/DR: Gas NPR go with NQR for the Allison, Diesel has deletes available and incredible reliability. I considered/considering the NPR for a chassis quite heavily. One thing to consider is the transmission for the 6. The gm 8 speed is absolute trash, numerous issues/recalls. Avoid this...

    NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE

Another note. KOA do not allow Ev's to be plugged in at the camp site. Must go to a dedicated ev charger. Recently watched a guy on YouTube camping in his model Y. Had to leave the koa go charge and come back at night to utilize "camp mode"

Designing and Building My Own "Earthroamer", a story. (with photos)

Not trying to downplay your achievement. Offering shells of this caliber is awesome! However, with all that hard work and premium features you then utilized the Alibaba China (Tern) non thermally efficient "euro" door? Those doors condensate like crazy. What was the thought process there...

50-60k for the 4x4 conversion?!?! I've got quotes from Clydesdale vans in BC, Canada for less than $30k Canadian pesos. I don't see anything that indicates that ujoint is superior in anyway.

    Ice, Ice, Baby 2025

I wonder if the condensation is enough of a problem for you to consider this: Aerogel blanket type insulation, its completely hydrophobic and could help reduce alot of the thermal bridging around the rim. Typically it comes in 5 or 10MM rolls. We use it in our Oil&Gas plant to insulate our...

    Hydronic Heating vs all Electric

Haha yes I heard about some sort of police event in smith when I was there. The owner of the x10 reported the most frost in the shower area, around the Seitz window frames, as well as in some of the corners that are covered with cabinetry. I don't fault OEV as the camper was a prototype, the...
