    Jack's 2007 Chevy Build

Any chance you have a link to your pictures, this sounds like an epic build and I'd love to leaf through some photos if they are available anywhere. Thanks

    GMT400 Blazer Build- SAS

I'm running a new set of 52" long rear leaf springs upfront, theyre made for a 80s 4wd chevy k10, they ride awesome, and they were cheap. You can find them for less than 100 bucks a spring pack online or on craigslist for 80 bucks for both like I did !

Between work and family stuff i've barely touched it...

    GMT400 Blazer Build- SAS

The Off Road Design Kit is excellent, i was torn between fabworx and ORD but ORD has always taken care of me in the past and they know their stuff so they won out. Thanks! I'm planing on running the tbi 350 for now, with the 5.13s it has plenty of get up and go but there are back burner plans...

    The Bigger Red Pig

Its very cool to see all the places you've gone and I love your old dodge. I also had a few quick questions on your paint: Did you thin it or add anything to it (hardener, ect.) How long was the dry time How many coats What did you use to cut in.

    Build ideas

After reading your thread i'm leaning toward recommending a full size blazer. Chevy has excellent parts swapping and for the most part are cheap to build and maintain. I built my 1st chevy for camping and offroading for less than 3000 and I loved it (granted it has since snow-balled into a 15K...

full size rock sliders - weld in rockers vs frame mounted.

Not the best pic of them but you get the idea, mine are welded to the frame with 3 legs supporting them, i have hit them pretty goo and so far no deflection or movement.
