What did you end up doing? NO WAY I would accept a 3 year old battery. 4 months "old" is the worst I would accept. Did you happen to check voltage of the battery?

It's just that the center tread looks nice and even with no divots. My tires never look that nice. And a chunk from the side like yours wouldn't surprise me.

Do you do a lot of off roading? The center of the tires lead me to believe you don't.

In another forum, I read where someone suggested making the turnbuckle doors /openings larger in order to better access that "storage area."

I dunno about the best. There are many options out there and it depends what you like to do and what amenities you want. I would say an OEV is the best. Four wheel campers are my next choice bc of affordability in the used market. If you stick to paved roads then I would get a hard sided...

@ramblinChet what did you end up doing? @taylosha After another year, any ill effects from the 60lb struts? I put a 46lb solar panel on my Grandby. I am also going to put a starlink and 4 maxtrax. I currently have the 30lb factory struts.
