Looking through this thread has me missing my Sport. I had to move it back in the summer of '15 after the bolt holding the lower pulley/harmonic balancer worked partway out then got stuck. It was either rebuild the engine, drop in a reman or take the 2 grand the dealer offered me, sight unseen...
Very good point by nwoods that I neglected to mention. That's what I've always done and for the most part has been fine, though occasionally I forget to turn it off. Not that it's a huge draw anyway.
As far as a spot to het through the firewall, there is a spot where some other wires go through...

Wheel bearings adjusted.
Last major item will be full tune-up. I hope.
Looks great, McGee! I'm also running 265's with the boards removed on my XLS. Question for ya. Which Bilsteins did you go with? At nearly 120,000 miles I'm starting to think it's time to up grade.
Ha. I just removed the same Cobra from that spot. The plan was to mount the Uniden there with my previous HU but it didn't fit. I actually attached the mounting bracket to the top trim piece of the shelf.
