16 gallons of fresh water onboard finally.
right now it just gets pumped to a faucet that has an attatchment for a shower head/hose.
heat exchanger is next to be added
im more of a simple plan... while I like redundancy I just can't do two high flow pumps.
im using a poly jeep pickup 18 gallon tank mounted in the old spare tire spot, with it's own transfer pump to the main tank. Extra gauge and switch run in the cab to transfer on the fly.
thanks for the info. didn't think about doing that with the hole, might have to do that. took more measurements and now not 100% sure it will fit. going to make a cardboard template to see all clearance issues.
so I decided to rethink the tank idea and go ahead and spend the money on poly tank.

it's been the best fitting tank I could find. I looked into poly but they are usually over twice the cost.
I did find a poly version of this cj tank for 175 which is still much cheaper than a lot of the generic or custom sized fuel tank tanks... im trying to use the space in the spare tire...
except that doesn't work off road.
I usually try a few different pressures based on load and terrain. but for the most part I go as low as I can without risking the tire coming off the wheel. in my heavy truck ive gone to 12-15lbs with no issues on steel and alloy wheels. I think you guys...
