Thank you for the good info! I'll take a look a BAV Understood about Globetrekker just being the "kit", and while they do have a list of builders... It's unknown to me if any do custom work.

Whom did you end up choosing. I've been looking at Globetrekker recently and their solution for the habitat is different\interesting.

Nick Zentner has a unique style and is excellent at presenting Geology to the curious. Myron Cook is a favorite of mine as well.

Why did they quit?

Interested to see an expert like Foy weigh in... but I think the rock splitting is due to temperatures below freezing. Something akin to water getting into cracks in the rock, freezing, then splitting the rock. Stunning.

If I was an EarthCruiser owner I’d focus some energy on getting the private support forums and all the valuable information out to a public forum. I can’t imagine all that info being lost. I imagine future owners would appreciate as well.
