My RTT overlaps my awning enough to prevent that on both my truck and my trailer. However on my truck it only overlaps 4 of the 8 feet so water still trickles down the truck. Its not an issue for me really, nothing a small tarp or other waterproof material cant solve.
Yeah I cant remember where I read that but it was definitey a user review that recommended it, not tepui itself.
I was a bit concerned when my tent leaked the first trip but then I remembered reading the thing about misting the tent to expand the thread and it eased my mind haha

I've read somewhere (cant remember) that the thread used for the stitching needs to get moist to swell up and completely plug the holes the needle made, and because of this its actually recommended to mist you tent with a hose before...

Ordered an RCI front skid plate a while ago and installed it a week or so ago. Protects the very exposed radiator so it's giving me some peace of mind on the trail.
Been a hell of a long time since I've posted any updates... Anyways I got all my front end parts in over a few days, not many pictures but here is what I got.

RTT's on trailers is the best way to go imo. Drop off the trailer at base camp and go out exploring from there. When not camping keep the RTT on the trailer and use the money you save in gas to go on more trips haha
