I can relate to your situation. I am a long weekend warrior with a maybe 2 trips of a couple weeks a year.
I went with a "semi-built in" Ecoflow setup that powers my fridge, hot plate, lights, maxxair fans and charges phones etc.
It is about 20' to disconnect and remove it if I want to use in...
I love this
“The truck can go anywhere-it is the courage of the driver that actually decides where it goes”
Obvious, but so true, and it made me chuckle you put this in your ad.
Really cool rig, I wish there were more pop ups like this rig... And I wasn't broke 😔
I can relate. I have a 2012 with the 5.7L V8 and a similar Hiatus with the vertical sides as well. Mine is pretty heavily armored and carry 19 gal water and 10 gal spare gas.
I get 8-9 realistically. If I go 60 mpg I might get 10. I had the 26 gallon tank and it was rough so I went with a LRA...
Yeah I looked at 4WC ouch!
Also the van ones are like $300.
I'll give myself future health problems by soaking myself in DEET before I pay $300 for a freaking bug screen!!!
I am not s candidate to trade but That's a great build, nicely done.
Did you make that big screen or does 4wc make one. I have a Hiatus pop up and I need to install a big screen by spring.
Thanks
Travis
Curious, Have you been notified and given details for the engine replacement recall process?
I am assuming this engine would be part of the recall, but I guess it might depend on if this trucks engine was built after they conceeded there was a need to replace engines.
BUMP, help me clean out my storage room.
$200 PU or I am planning a trip Seattle thru NV to socal, then over to southern UT before heading back north thru Portland OR.
Yeah, I can't quite figure out the advantage. I had an Alu-cab RTT for 7 years. I liked the alu-cabin in theory but the bed is too small (for us) and I didn't like the idea of dealing with the amount of condensation that would happen in PNW.
