    Truck camper questions

I have watched a bunch of videos and have done some research on the Lone Peak campers... and man, for the price, they seem like a winner. GFC also a good choice it seems, I see a lot of those here in Victoria BC Canada... and they don't even sell them in Canada. Good options all around.

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

I recently saw these on the Vancity Vanlife channel. He is going to be selling them on his http://vantoys.ca store. Pretty slick units, not sure how much they are, but probably inline with a marine product (or likely cheaper. Looks pretty slick and includes bug screen/shade too...

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

Totally agree on the tiny amount of AF needed in a smaller setup. I used to have a 23' travel trailer with a full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) and a large 60 gal fresh and 3 x 30 gal grey/black tanks. I used to use about 1.5 gal to purge all the lines. The low point drains helped, but there...

Pop-Up Camper - Custom Build (scratch built) Oasis-Si

Christian Valley Overland Trip... May 2025. Hello folks. Been a min since I have posted anything on this site, or spent much time here either. I have however been actually 'using' my camper, so that's cool. Not just a fancy lawn ornament. lol In the end of May, 2 friends and I did an overland...

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

I use RV Antifreeze in mine... I have the same pump. I really need to add a feed tube with a diverter valve so I can pull from the tank or from the jug og AF... but other than that it is as simple as feeding it AF and pumping the lines through. THe nice part about a simple smaller setup like...

    Hodakaguy's 4x4 Sprinter Build

That new 50A DC/DC is surprisingly small compared to the 30A I have. The heat sink on the 30 is massive. Beautiful work as always friend. Looks killer in there...nice and compact and clean. LOVE the fuse / power dist block access under that OE banel.

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

I think Joolca makes some pretty nice stuff. There is a local company selling their stuff here close to me should I ever want any of it. That toilet looks like a pretty good setup.

2024 RAM CCLB flatbed + Overland Adventure Truck composite shell build thread

That flatbed is a thing of beauty. I am so envious... lol I have a Ram 1500 and the payload for anything is so small. I knew that going in, but when I bought there was no used 2500 or 3500 Gassers available anywhere (hardly any diesels too). I am super stoked to follow the build process...

The CrowsWing - Offroad Teardrop Trailer

Wow. Long time since I have seen this thread pop up in my updates. 55k is a lot of trails and camping nights. I always liked this build and remember the process you documented it well. Congrats on the well built trailer and all the good times.

ITTOG's Truck Camper Build (was 6' x 12' Trailer Conversion)

Looking good on the trailer rebuild. Pressure treated is definitely the way to go. On the power front, I decided to put in a 100AH Li Time battery in the camper connected to the fridge, lights etc. It runs everything, is the newer gen with BT and so far it has been awesome. I picked up a...
