Dang, that height differential is what I was afraid of. Raising the bed would technically be more than what I want to do. I would have to do both front and rear of the bed. That changes all the underbed storage. This would have been a nice setup otherwise for us.
Here are the dimensions that I would need to fit into the back of the E350:
Height: 22-23"
Width: ~ 44"
Depth: ~ 34"
A couple snapshots to give you an idea of what I'm talking about:
The Overland Kitchen is presently mounted in back of my 5th gen 4Runner. The kitchen works great and...
What is the distance from the rear floor to the bottom of the bed? What is the length of those two rear drawers? I have an Overland Kitchen setup which would be nice to switch from my 4Runner into this setup. Also would want to add a 270 awning on the passenger side to make more livable for...
The suspension on the Summit was destroyed crossing a basalt field in the central Oregon desert south of Bend several years ago. SWMBO preferred not to replace it with another one.
I can still drive, during the day!;)
Hey Yetti! Nice looking place you've found there. Looks like you'll be spending a lot of time mowing ha ha.
You were commenting about a lack of people putting up their adventure stories, etc., around here. I for one have really slowed down. Pretty much took all of this year off and focused...
I'm a bit confused with what is coming with the vehicle purchase. The pics show propane tank and garbage bag on back. Do you have any pics of your customs seats and the back of the Jeep? This looks like a really nice setup, just not sure what is included.

The interior looks very nice! You should make a list of everything you've done in order for those interested to know more about it. Example, refrigerator and stove?

I remember this van! Would you please put up some more interior photos? Would love to see what you did with it.
Also would like some more info on the StarLink and Wrappon; are they included?

Hey Hodaka Guy, hope you are still checking this thread every now and then. Your dad is my hero! I'm 77 and just looking into getting a Revel and leaving the little trailer at home. Wifey and I are aging out of it.
I really want to thank you for all the info on years of Revels to buy, and...
Very happy for you Rob! Glad to see it is going to a good home in AK!! Wish I would have owned this 40 years ago, hi hi. Now 77 and too old to work on it.

Give the USAA a call and ask them if it would work. I probably would not buy it myself because SWMBO is pointing her finger toward a Springer van instead. But a loan transfer would save everyone a lot of paperwork.
GLWS and bon voyage!

Have you ever thought of letting someone just pickup your existing car loan from USAA? Example; I am not presently a member of USAA but am a disabled vet (Viet Nam Hospital Corpsman 68-69). So think I should be easily eligible to pick up the loan. I'm in Spokane, WA now, but will be visiting...
