The problem with that is a basic issue of volume and ratios. Lets say those additives have an effective octane rating of 116. You add a can to 10 gallons of 91 octane gas you now have ~91.3 octane fuel. It's like adding a single shot of vodka to a keg of beer to increase it's alcohol content...
