2023 Aterra XL Flatbed Truck Camper + 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty 7.3l 4x4 diesel

Price lowered and negotiable.

Ready to go, heavy duty 4x4 overlanding rig made for long distance off-road adventures. Keep it as-is with one of the most reliable trucks ever made, or put the camper on your own truck, make some cash selling this one, and hit the road.

Hard to find 2023 AT Overland Aterra XL Flatbed Truck Camper (serial XLF23016) on Colorado-made Bowen Customs Overland aluminum flatbed with large storage garage behind crew cab, all on ultra reliable 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty 7.3l XLT 4x4 diesel w/clean CarFax and title (VIN 1FTNW21FX2EB38993). $149k OBO for the setup.

The low mileage pickup has less than 100,000 original miles on it: It was garaged before I bought it, and I have full maintenance receipts from regular work at Bodacious Diesel in Golden, Colorado after I purchased it. Truck has 97,393 miles as of this listing, camper has been on it for only about 2,000 miles.

I'm happy to send more pics or video.

Camper and components are under warranty, installed by Juniper Overland in Denver this past February.

The Bowen Customs aluminum flatbed alone was a $21k+ investment.

Will consider selling camper alone, asking price $87,500 OBO.

I've only spent 3 nights in it, and I've washed the rig—especially the undercarriage—after every time I've driven it in the snow.

I waited more than a year and a half for this setup and planned to live in it full time with my two dogs, but life happens and my priorities changed to living in my new home.

Just an FYI. 10 photos is the limit per 'post', but you can make additional posts in this thread with additional photos. Four posts = 40 photos.
Also hotlinks to some websites is blocked by the Expo Portal, and the one you linked is one of those sites.
Nice truck, my buddy had the gas version and I was very impressed by it. GLWTS.

How long can you run the AC at night on battery power? Does it have shore power hookup? Inverter size? Thanks!

No shore power—this is a pretty independent setup (aside from diesel for the truck and propane for the heat, of course).

The inverter is a Redarc 2000w pure sine wave inverter, with two separate banks of AC outlets (one below the cooktop, one to the right of the sink, mounted on the counter next to the bed).

2 x 400 watts solar panels power 2 lithium batteries for 210 ah total.

I've only stayed in this for 3 nights and didn't have to run any AC due to low temps. I ran it for 3 or 4 hours on one 80+ degree sunny afternoon in Denver though, under no shade, and it was totally comfy for my two older dogs and me.

One of my primary reasons for upgrading all of this (and opposed to just getting a 3-season pop-up) was temperature: I talked with the manufacturer and dealer about wanting to be sure the camper could stay cool for at least several hours during a summer day while I worked inside with my dogs and was told this would have no problem doing that, or keeping us cool overnight.

Assuming, based on the description, that it is a Nomadic X2 AC, it is rated at 720W. The battery bank has approx 2520 watt-hours of capacity (12volt x 210amp-hours). I have no idea what the BMS is set to in terms of the discharge floor, but usually they are conservatively rated to an 80% depth of discharge, or approx 2000 watt hours of usable capacity. That means approx 2.8 hours of continuous use; since no AC runs continuously, you’d probably make it a decent portion of the night, depending on the weather.

Nice looking rig!!

Curious, have you ever weighed the rig loaded up, ready to go? What's the GVWR? Curious as I have been looking at this camper for my 2000 Ram 2500, which has a GVWR of 8800 lbs. Your truck is of that same era, so curious about this.
