I have an OVRLND on my F250 with the barn doors. I have been thinking about go to the full barn doors. But, I hate to lose the back up camera that is in the tail gate. Has anyone with the full barn doors come up with a solution to some how incorporate the back up camera onto the rear door?

Thanks Jeff
The brand of cam I got on Amazon was ''Brandmotion.''

I drilled a hole beneath my 3rd brake light and installed the camera there.

I did end up making a harness to connect the aftermarket camera to the harness for my factory camera under the bed, but that was pretty easy.

Edit: This was the camera I used, have one in the front grill as well. Pretty good quality for the $.

I'm also looking to add the barn door extension! I was about to come over here and ask if anybody has done it and how was the experience.
Barn door extension install was super easy, drill a few holes throw in some bolts and they mount right up.

Took more time to add all the gaskets to seal them up than it did to install the lower barn door halves.

I went to CameraSource.com and bought the appropriate camera relocation kit for my RAM. You plug an extension wire into the existing harness at the tailgate, then run the camera to wherever you want. This way there's no added screens, and you maintain 100% factory performance from your tailgate cam. Easy to reverse when the time comes as well. There are various housings you can get with the different kits. I mounted mine above the doors...only issue with it is that there's extreme glare at night when I hit the brakes as it's above the 3rd brake light. Didn't have enough room below it.

Only required drilling an approximately 1" hole or so through the skin and insulation panel I had put in. Took longer to run the cabling to make it nice and neat than anything else.

Played around with my heater today. I cut both the power and control cables. Added twist connect fittings. Drilled and mounted the surface mounts. Ran new wires, and gave it a test.
Everything worked great. Tested the thermostat setting, seemed to work just fine. The burner shut down when the temperature was reached. The fan slowed way down, but stayed on. Then the burner would reignite when the temperature dropped.
I need to test it out when it's below 20° F and see how it does.
Nice! I haven't tried to use the thermostat on mine but I assume it has one. How does it take a reading? Through the controller?

I went down the CDH rabbit hole looking for a way to find a thermostat control setting and found this product that a lot of people are using to have a thermostat function https://bureck.company.site/
This leads me to believe that mine doesn't have one built in I suppose. Your CDH must be a more sophisticated unit that has one?

The red and black wire exiting from my controller has a thermistor attached to it. The controller has the thermostat in it along with a barometric meter for elevation control.

That's very cool, from what I've researched the issue with mine and many other CDH designs is that if you use the built in thermostat, the heater will just kick down to the low setting but keep running which supposedly is a very in efficient way to run and also contributes to a lot of soot build up within the heater CC. It sounds like yours actually turns the burner off when it reaches temp. Does it cycle the glow plugs every time the heater kicks back on or does it just start putting out heat right away when the temp drops?

For those running diesel heaters. How are you running the heater hose into your campers?
I used fire rated foam board, it fits perfectly in place of the screen. The bricks were just for testing :)
