Hmmmm. Any rust, body work and paint history?

There is no frame rust, Very minor corrosion in the drivers foot well, no penetration, size of a half dollar. The drivers side passenger door has minor corrosion, I did not feel it worth replacing. Frame and body panels have been treated with fluid film diligently and yearly. Very nice shape coming from France, nice and arid. The Paint history is unknown to me. I Hope this helps. Backstory

I grew up in the back of a 1973 Land Rover Series 88, Limestone. Sat in the back jump seats, 5 years old, doing my best to help Dad out with the work. Chain saws, ax, and ropes all sliding and bouncing around me. The smell of exhaust mixed with bar and chain lube is deeply ingrained in the deepest grey matter.

I grew to be quite tall, I don't quite fit in a Series any longer, the Defender became the natural successor, to raise our children in, to adventure.

A new friend happened to import Defenders.....

The children grew up in and around the Defender; Vermont, the Canadian border, hiking, camping, mountain biking, canoeing, dogs, overland gatherings, all ingrained deep in their being.

At 12 and 14, they too have grown to be quite tall, the family no longer fits in our 110.
We Love this truck and everything it stands for.

To adventure alone is not an option.

We are certain that the next owner will understand, as did all the owners that have come before, how special Rovers are.
