What is the overhang rated to? I saw they mentioned 500# on the facebook page "static weight" - does that still apply? 500# doesn't seem like much... I mean, throw a mattress up there, some shelves, 2 larger people, a dog... you could hit more than 500lbs. Is it possible to add L shaped reinforcement brackets to the front overhang like I've seen done elsewhere?

The only testing I've seen so far was when OEV started building protos and posted some of their adhesive bond failure analysis on this forum.
