from what i researched the LR4 onlt has a problem with the LUX transfercase, otherwise they are solid.

Thanks for the help! Now since I'm looking at buying new or newer do you know of any problems with the 2010 lr4s that would have to be fixed. I havnt found much info like I have the lr3s. There is just to many options ha.

Hey I'm just looking into purchasing a l3 08 with about 80k miles and was wondering around the price you paid, and if you had any tips when test driving since I'm a total newby when it comes to engines or cars in general. I know I will have to replace the control arms, maybe air compressor and sun roof. Is there anything else I should take into cost? Also I see the mods you wanted to do and notice how not many people lift there lr3, is that Bc of the air suspension? I'm still wondering about what all I wanna do but I'm ready to get started.
