  • I also have a T55 on my Frontier and I don't do hard core off roading, but I wouldn't hesitate to take my truck on most forest service fire roads. Whether the Tufport T55 is in the bed or not, doesn't affect my decision at all. It's bolted through the bed to the truck frame, it doesn't weigh much (somewhere around 350-400lbs), and isn't too tall. As for crosswinds while on the road, not a factor at all.
    How did the Tufport work offroad wheeling and in high cross wind situations? Would you got with a hard top again or go the pop top camper route? Cheers
