  • Have you ever thought of letting someone just pickup your existing car loan from USAA? Example; I am not presently a member of USAA but am a disabled vet (Viet Nam Hospital Corpsman 68-69). So think I should be easily eligible to pick up the loan. I'm in Spokane, WA now, but will be visiting family in Richmond, Va starting the 16th of June.

    Just an idea.

No, I have not, and didn't know that was an option. That would be convenient. I am showing the truck on Sunday and waiting for another gentleman who came to see it to make a decision. I should still be in the area on the 16th, but I need to start the move toward Texas to have the vehicle in storage by the 18th if it doesn't sell.

Give the USAA a call and ask them if it would work. I probably would not buy it myself because SWMBO is pointing her finger toward a Springer van instead. But a loan transfer would save everyone a lot of paperwork.

    GLWS and bon voyage!
