Great thread. As a guy with a three year old son, I look at these pics and enjoy seeing you hanging with family. They look like they are having a blast.

I know that rig well, used to drive the same configuration when I was a Paramedic.

I've had a $160 Airtex lift pump in mine for over a year towing 12,000lbs over 8,000 miles last year. Lift pump holds 12 psi at WOT no problem. Just get a fuel pressure gauge. You're not towing heavy, and if the truck isnt running an aggressive programmer, you don't need a high end lift pump...

Some places are seldom travelled to or written about, some of these places are special enough that they are worth leaving as surprises.

One off or not, it's a great use of polyurea and a cool design. Bravo for ingenuity.

Looks interesting. Are you guys using a high pressure polyurea spray for the skin? Will the 160 degree temps from the polyurea melt the foam?

Nice fab work, and you'll have a huge integrated awning when you're done. Good stuff.

Excellent craftsmanship and documentation. Isn't the foam you are using more desirable from a carcinogenic/off gassing perspective?

It seems weird, but much of the burden for California electricity is placed on rural Utah/AZ populations by way of coal fired generation stations. And most of it's power is used to pump fresh water for the CAP program to 80% of Arizona residents. We like to smugly turn a blind eye to our own...
