    ***SOLD***Milwaukee Ratchet

How much use has this had? When was it purchased? Was it used daily in a shop, or sporadically as a hobbyist? I am interested. Edit: Looks pretty darn clean, I am guessing not a shop tool!

Recommendations for a family ground tent.

I've heard over and over again how awesome NEMO tents are, and I've owned other products of theirs and I am a fan, but I've never seen one of their tents in person. However, I'm also a fan of REI's "Base Camp" and / or the "Hobbitat" tents. The Base Camp survives hard weather very well, has...

TJ/LJ Adjustable Control arms with no Heim Joint?

I totally would go with Savvy as they are the real deal, but you might also check out Currie. I had their short arm kit and with a 1" BL, the 4.5" AEV progressive coils and Rancho adjustable shocks was a pretty good combination.

Mitsubishi mechanic in Orange County/surrounding area

I would recommend Chai also, for anyone looking for a Mitsubishi mechanic in northern LA, but that is hours away from OC (traffic depending)

Mitsubishi mechanic in Orange County/surrounding area

I don't know of any Mitisubishi experienced auto repair shops in OC, but there are handful of garage mechanics around here. I have also found the SoCal Monteros forum on Facebook to be very helpful. I redid the engine on my 2003 3rd Gen about 2 years ago now, it still runs! Photos here...

    Just bought a 16 JKU

Eliminating noises in a Jeep will render it a soulless Toyota-like appliance. Don't do it! Just find the ones that sound expensive or damaging, leave the rest for character!

Can't get to the driver side rear cam seal on my gen 2.5

There is only two bolts, but I think it comes out with a half twist or something like that. I can't remember specifically, other than that is about the only time the FSM says to use gasket gunk . In fact, i don't remember there being a seal, as in a replaceable gasket seal, on that part. I am...

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

John, fortunately, she is going to Texas State and they have announced that the start of Summer session (July 6th - which is when she reports), the school will be reopening. We don't fully know what that will mean yet, but hopefully she will have a dorm to stay at!

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

Yes and Yes. She did do this inquiry around the end of the year, but that was pre-covid. At the time, the person she talked to (within the College of Engineering) was pretty adamant that her personal computer was wide open in selection, because all the engineering students used the software and...

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

I seriously thought of that, but she has an iPad that she loves, and creates a lot of art content and so forth. She has used it for notes in AP Physics in high school as well, so that is working. That is why I am shying away from the 2n1's. Plus, there's just no way they will last as long as...

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

I anticipate spending about $2500 all up, one laptop, one 24" monitor, one batch of accessories. To Dave in Denver, those specs are not too far off from what I use in my architectural office, but i am specifically looking for a highly portable laptop here. Requirements: - 32GB Ram - 1TB SSD -...

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

To Finlay: To be fair, when discussing my own corporate experiences, they are high end machines specifically built to run intensive applications like Revit. They all have a min of 64GB RAM, Hybrid SSD's, Xeon CPU's, and some sort of ridiculous graphics card that I am not even sure what they...

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

That is really interesting split! I'm in architecture, and it's about 75% PC and 25% Mac, with most of the Mac users working in areas not directly related to Revit production. I am the exception, where I RDP from a Mac to a PC workstation. I've sent an email off to the college to see how they...

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

Hey hey, lets not get crazy now. I'm just trying to head off the "apple tax" arguments when it comes to cost. Buying multiple engineering laptops is not in daddy's fishing budget.

98 Montero 2.5 Harmonic Balancer broke

The belts, as in the accessory belt around the fan, ac pump, alternator? Your engine should be okay. If the timing belt broke or skipped due to a failed tensioner, then you have a very real possibility of the valves kissing the pistons in a very non-romantic way. That can result in bent...

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

This site doesn't help clarify things at all! SolidWorks says it runs fine on Parallels, and also states that SolidWorks eDrawings (not sure what that is) runs natively on Mac https://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/systemrequirements.html?kui=thhQr3zflOEbCcNkctB0XA#_ts=1585325231286

Questions for SolidWorks Users and/or Engineering Graduates

Trying to decide between PC or MacBook for a college laptop. My daughter is off to college this year. Mechanical Engineering is her focus (while being on a Volleyball scholarship). She has grown up using Macs and is invested into the rest of the Apple eccosphere (iPad, Watch, iPhone, iCloud...

Wow, I've started to dig into this a bit online, and what a rabbit hole I've dived into. And I suddenly need to significantly increase my knife budget :-)
