Ursa Minor Camper Shell for JT Gladiator

In Dan Grec's recent video posted here on Expo about the Adventure ExPo in SoCal, he had some video of it. All aluminum construction if I am thinking of the right one. It looked nice. It was on a black Gladiator?

Question: 3rd Gen Montero Rear Suspension Setup

Sort of the wrong question. Try this instead: What is the drawback of a solid axle on the road? Independant suspension provides a more compliant and stable ride ON the road, which is the vast majority of vehicle usage. Offroad it is not nearly as good at articulation that a 3 or 4 point...

    Monteros on craigslist

Those miles are pretty low honestly, if you can figure out if the engine has been well maintained, I'd say $3,500 honestly. If not, then less, obviously. Kinda depends on the interior condition too

    New "Enhanced MVUM" maps

This is super cool! However, I am having a bit of difficulty in buying them. I'd like to buy a full set of laminated Cleveland National Forest maps. Can you add a "buy set" button?

    Crankshaft pulley bolt

Its totally legit, and yes, it effects the Gen 2.5 with the 3.5L engine as well. My neighbor used to be a service writer for a mitsu dealer and when i was rebuilding mine he walked over and confirmed it all.

My Gen 2.5 Journey, a build thread.

Certainly is. A bit sketchy in my old 2.5 gen. Just not enough flex for that trail. Felt like i was going to tip over at any moment. I used to take my Land Rover club up that trail pretty regularly. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-xvDD7B8/0/X2/i-xvDD7B8-X2.jpg

2006 LR3 HSE Tie Rod Replacement

Congrats on your LR3. The mechanical aspects of swapping out tie rods is straight forward and easy. However, the alignment process with the air suspension is a bit more involved. I cant remember for sure, but i think that procedure is posted to lr3tips.wordpress.com (.org?). Good luck.

    question about Montero sports

Junkyards are full of them. Not sure if they vastly outsold the full size montero which would explain the disproportionate number of them, or if because their pricepoint was lower so not worth fixing, or what. Generally, Mitsu’s are really well built, but there are plenty of Sports in the...

    Dear Ore-Landers: Sleeping method debate

Yes, when we started out we bought these super deluxe air mattresses with pumps built in, just plug them into a cig lighter and good to go. Almost cost me my marriage. Well, no, but they were awful in the high alpine air of the Eastern Sierras. We quickly learned to crave our insulated 3.5”...

    Questions about the Montero Sport

Those are large questions with thousands of words to answer. Lets narrow down a bit. Why are you considering a Sport instead of the full size? Answering that can then help answer more specifically about the differences.
