cruiserpilot,
That is exactly what I did with the Aux tank. The OEM 19 gallon tank on the LJ has been replaced with the 32 gallon tank from Genright. Even with that I took the five cans. I'd rather have an additional 15 between the frame rails, but even then, I'd just find longer routes that...
I will add my experience in doing exactly as described in the VDEG. During a trip to Utah, we knew we would be very fair from fuel and did not want deviate our path to include looping out to a fuel station. To make sure we had reserve capacity, five Wavian Jerry Cans were mounted inside my...

Just last week I ended up getting an ElM327 unit and use Dashcommand. Seems to work fine for both the Jeep and the Volvo. It is a wifi unit and using an iphone 4.
I just got this one from Amazon.

Plan on using Dashcommand. Hopefully it works, but it not will return to Amazon.
Now if they would offer that on a 16", or just make a 255/85R16.
I don't care what they want to call it, as long as it is between 33"-34" tall 9.5"-10.5" wide and fits a 16" rim.
Now I am completely happy with my 33X10.5R17s, but I have 16' AEV Rims that I'd like to mount up.
