Next Question: Diesel vs. Gas F350

That’s why I have my guys inspect fuel tanks monthly. I know too many contractors that have had issues because of bad site tanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Next Question: Diesel vs. Gas F350

Longevity, power, durability, simplicity etc. all reasons to choose a diesel over gas. Especially if you delete. I don’t know much about the Ford 6.7, I’m a Cummins guy, but there is no reason that, if well taken care of, a modern diesel can’t go half a million miles. Yes it holds a ********...

AEV Dual Sport Track Bar issue

Welding it would solve the clearance issue. But I’ll need to see if it can even be done without adversely effecting the trackbar. If I could find the new factory trackbar bracket that has the upgraded structure I’d rather get that, cut the old one off, and weld it on. Sent from my iPad...

Which shocks for 16' Screw F150?

If you can afford it, a 2.5 would perform better for you. If you’re not willing to pay the cost of Kings, the Fox 2.5s would be the only other choice in my opinion. But who you get them from and how they are valved will be important. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

AEV Dual Sport Track Bar issue

The problem is the bracket consists of several pieces. At least 2. I’ll check into it though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

AEV Dual Sport Track Bar issue

Yea I noticed the rivnut was a ******** install. I found the mopar install video and watched it. They say that the rivnut has to be tight against the frame as well as the bracket. I’ve got a VM into the dealer but I doubt they will claim any wrong doing. I also stopped by Fastenal this afternoon...

AEV Dual Sport Track Bar issue

Here are some photos, not great, I found online comparing the two. I can not tell if the AEV bar is bent to accommodate the 1” forward. I almost say it doesn’t, because they do not include a new bar or spacer in the 37”-40” conversion kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

AEV Dual Sport Track Bar issue

I have a 2014 with the R46 recall bracket. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with the AEV track bar. As you can see from the photos one of the M10 bolt heads rubs the track bar. I am just completely sick over this. And I’m more than pissed AEV has not released a statement warning owners...

Which shocks for 16' Screw F150?

This is just plain false and a perfect example of what I mentioned above. The Kings posted above from filthy are direct OEM replacements and require no additional components. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Get these and you’ll be very happy. http://www.filthymotorsports.com/King_OEM_F_150_Shocks_p/king-25001-367.htm Yes they are expensive. Buy once cry once.

Which shocks for 16' Screw F150?

You’ll want your front and rear to match for a mor comfortable drive. The rear is rough due to poor shocks, and partly because of the leaf springs. Swapping shocks in the rear will definitely help, but if you’re looking for wild ride improvement you’ll need new leaf springs out back...

Which shocks for 16' Screw F150?

Shocks are designed to control your coils, so recommendations will be based on the rest of your suspension. It’s all about valving for your intended use. But, right out the gate, Kings are the best, for many reasons, mostly because you can rebuild them at home. There is also no such thing as...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

Why not just run the factory cover with the Carli bash guard? There is no evidence to suggest that a larger cover helps improve anything. Gale banks recently did a video on it and is currently researching data to see if larger covers actually help. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

VW production plans for a midsize pickup

FFS why!? Midsize trucks shouldn’t even be a thing. The engines are anemic, the transmissions are terrible, the seat angle is no different than a car. I just don’t get it. Sure the Taco is popular, but it’s only worth a crap in its nearly 50k configuration. Same with the Colorado. Whats...
