My Jeep JKU dual battery tray install.

Nicely done! How did you attach the hold down to the tray on engine side? I want to make something similar since I am in the process of pulling my batteries and recovery charging them, now is the time!

    Odyssey vs. Diehard Platinum

For what it's worth, 4Wheelparts.com has the Odyssey Group 34 (no side terminals) for $248.99, and the 34/78 (with side terminals) for $278.99 with free ground shipping.

My Jeep JKU dual battery tray install.

No problem, the factory neg cable will just reach the main, just take your time re-routing.

National Luna Split-Charge System Charging Issues?

It's interesting you are having the same issue with your Tacoma. I thought mine was fixed but I was idling with the a/c running for about 15 minutes the other day and I heard the clunk of the solenoid disengaging. Look down at the DBC and sure enough only the main was being charged, checked my...

    Odyssey vs. Diehard Platinum

Considering my latest experience with the Platinum and Sears, I wouldn't buy another one regardless.

My Jeep JKU dual battery tray install.

Not to Hijack, but the NL Split Charge manual shows both factory pos and neg connected to the main battery. http://www.nationalluna.com/Datasheets/Split-charge%20manual.pdf

    Odyssey vs. Diehard Platinum

I probably missed something, are you talking about the Platinums and that they won't be making them anymore? On an aside, took my Jeep in for service, and of course despite making an appointment they didn't get to it that day, so it sat overnight. There was a note from the tech, stating...

    Ctek 250s dual battery charger

Thanks, interesting stuff. The Jeep JK alternator is a 160amp so that might be an issue. A local shop sells these systems, going to try to get over there soon to pick their brains.

    Ctek 250s dual battery charger

So who has one of these, what vehicle are you using it in, how long have you had it, and what do you think of it? Thanks.

Dstock's M101A1 build... or the reality, I needed a new project!

For the time being it will be manual, trying to keep it simple, less things to break. I will only be raising one end at a time and I won't be doing it alone. My pins lock in the out position, so I don't have to reach both at the same time. P.S> - I can actually reach both pins, so even if I go...

Well the news is out so here's the build: Expedition Portal So-Cal Teardrop

Great pics! You will have so much more peace of mind making the swap, especially after finding mis-matched hardware and such, hate it when places do things half-assed.

Dstock's M101A1 build... or the reality, I needed a new project!

Max Coupler, tongue jack and welding 101 Got a bunch done of the weekend. I took the trailer over to a local welding shop to have the ball coupler and old tongue jack removed and a 2 inch receiver tube and new pipe mount tongue jack welded in their place. As I am a first time welder, I did...

Parking Brake Cable on Dexter Backplate

The only thing I have found so far is this kit, which is more than you need but they did confirm it is Dexter compatible. I need the lever, but not the rest of the brake away part as I have a battery powered brake away system. http://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Titan/T2385200.html

    Project Gryphon M101A3

Check out my build, I am in the process of doing the same thing, it should be helpful. Sorry on my phone so I can't link it

    Wheel adapters

Sorry, I did not. I never had any intention of keeping the original axle. But as everyone has stated they are very helpful people, I would give them a call.

    Odyssey vs. Diehard Platinum

This is encouraging, I have been jamming trying to get my trailer build to a usable state, so haven't had any extra time to start the battery recovery cycle with the Ultimizer.

Well the news is out so here's the build: Expedition Portal So-Cal Teardrop

As they say, " Thatsa no good!" Looking forward to seeing your new solution, great looking trailer and half the fun is building them the way you want. I know mine will never be "finished" lol!
