    JK/JL Jeep Camper Concept

Also, a hard roof over any style pop up camper is a whole different world than a tent. Much more durable, secure, easier to stay comfortable in, etc. I love the idea of a Flippac but there's no going back to sleeping in a tent for me.

Any Field Herpers here??? (That's crazy snake and lizard chasers to the rest of you.)

My old eyes saw 'field herpes'. My immediate thought was, no, I shook that one years ago.

Holy cow! Have these guys really gone mainstream! 😳

I agree, my comments weren't about price though I do think that hefty discount is a joke. I just think it lacks class and romance to buy such a nice vehicle from a wholesale store. I despise car dealers and dealerships but if there's any romance left it's the experience of buying something...

Holy cow! Have these guys really gone mainstream! 😳

Just my opinion but I don't think it's neat. I think it's a mistake. Akin to seeing a Porsche for sale at Walmart. Just doesn't fit. In fact I can't fathom how anyone in the marketing dept of either company could possibly think this is a good idea for either company. But what do I know...

2012 Tundra Limited Overland Build. **Price update**

Beautiful truck. My favorite color. I had a 2012 Platinum Crewmax and IMO it is the best year of the best truck I've ever owned. Can't comment on price but I can say this. I've tried and tried to find a clean, unmolested 2012 Crewmax for years now and it's damn near impossible. @dstefan's...

Chevy Kodiak Overlander in Hood River, Oregon

That seems like a steal in today's overpriced, I mean overland culture. I'd love to see the interior!

Very Cool Class C RV Overland Inspired

Seems like a great price on a nice, low mileage Class C that looks better than most Class C's but......overland? That's a stretch. Traction boards and a compass painted on it doesn't make an overland vehicle.

Do You Know Where The Emergency Door Release Handle Is Located On Your Cybertruck?

Cybertruck owners are apparently blind so they wouldn't be able to find it anyway.

coil-over springs versus leaf springs on E350 camper

This is a bit off subject but deserves sharing. I run E rated A/T tires on my vans, always have, and cover a lot of interstate where I want the lowest rolling resistance and highest efficiency. Heavy rigs (vans or whatever) are a punishing ride offroad no matter what the suspension set up if...

    JK/JL Jeep Camper Concept

Wow, that is moving for a modified Jeep! Glad to hear it's comfortable at that speed. My wife's little 2.0l turbo Wrangler Willys is fine at that speed all day too but no rack or anything other than 33"s on it, not even a lift. It averages low to mid 20's and has been rock solid so far.

    JK/JL Jeep Camper Concept

Question for Dan and Michael, what highway speed do you guys typically run? I mean interstate speeds when you are 'between' scenic roads and trails. I'm not only curious how this plays into the mileage figures you've posted but also what is comfortable in the modified Jeeps, Jeeps being...

coil-over springs versus leaf springs on E350 camper

I've had lots of Quigleys and never had death wobble. Not to mention the millions (literally) of solid axle coil sprung trucks running around NOT having death wobble. Quigley/coil sprung (the most common) conversions are fine conversions for 99.9% of us. I recommend Agile RIP on any Quigley...

    JK/JL Jeep Camper Concept

Well that's odd! I easily get 42 mpg out of my Hemi 392 Rubicon on 42"s, usually with the rear wheels spinning twice as fast as the speedometer leaving a trail of rubber behind me towing a 40' 5th wheel! Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Great pics! What kind of fuel mileage are you averaging? I can't remember if yours is gas or diesel.
