    Overland Navigator: New product launch

Craig, forgive my retardedness. I just purchased an HP TX1000z notebook/tablet touch screen computer, for use in my vehicle, with your software and a few other things. I will be using this primarily on the east coast, so I will have to make due with the USA basemap in the 1:100K scale. I am ok...

Quecha "2 Second" tents (Europe only)

Look at the videos on the website. It shows everything you say to be untrue. They do windtunnel testing, and water proof testing. They might not be for everyone...but at least they provide enough testing results to let you make an informed decision. ~James

    What is a spline?

Also, if it is indeed a 8.25, you should definitely have the 29 spline. My 96 is a 29 spline, that was the transition year from 27 to 29 spline. ~James

    What is a spline?

Looks like my 8.25 as well, but like exrunner said, your pinion area looks different. Could just be the difference of models. You could always buy it and try... if it doesnt fit, I will buy it from you. :) ~James

    Elmo's Camper Build

I will use it for fridge and water tank storage. The fridge would be on a slide out the back end, and water tank up front. the rest of the space would be just random storage. I have enough crap that I would easily fill it up. Don, sorry to hi-jack! ~James

    Elmo's Camper Build

Thanks! I need to update the XJ thread.... The 'little old lady' doesnt know if its aluminum or not, but I will find out. Its a good deal either way. I just cant imagine this thing weighing 750 pounds... ~James

    Elmo's Camper Build

Don says his is around 350 pounds since its made of aluminum, I am not sure of the weight of the one I posted, but I hope it is very similar. I will know in a couple weeks... :) I figure its a great place to start from since the boxes and doors are already built for you as well as fenders etc...

    Elmo's Camper Build

I just found another box exactly like what you have on Craigslist... $200.00 bucks. I am going to pay for it in a couple weeks when we get to the states. It was mounted on a ranger rear, but I will be building my own frame rails. I also will just build a small rack for my RTT to mount on. I amd...

    Aussie locker

I put an Aussie in the front of my XJ, and you cant even tell its there when on the road. I wouldnt reccomend it for the rear, especially if you know you are going to be on icy roads. Its doable, but it can get hairy quickly. Throw one in the front, and forget about it.

    Auction of a Jeep starting @ $ 5.00

The mileage on my report is just an estimate based on the age of the vehicle. It has nothing to do with the actual mileage. Its a nice set-up for sure with the longarms, throw on wheels and tires it would be ready to rock. It will be interesting to see what it goes for. I might have to make...

    Auction of a Jeep starting @ $ 5.00

Its got the Dana 44 axles, and the locker button, so one has to assume it is a Rubi. I am sure you could run the vin number and find out... in fact give me a second. I have a system here at work that should tell me. EDIT: Yeah, its a rubi according to the VIN. I looked it up in our NADA system...

Quecha "2 Second" tents (Europe only)

There are tons of them on ebay. They are mostly located in the UK and Australia, but they all ship to the US. I have seen a few of these over here, they look like nice tents. ~James
