Ok so this weekend I had a issue with my camper....a leak in my tank less hot Water Heater system. Sent Phoenix Campers a quick email. Get a reply the same day & Rob diagnosed it with me. Turns out I did not drain the water properly out of it last fall or when I had the furnace upgraded the...
Hi Mytaco,
Can I suggest putting a couple garden hoses or a sprinkler on the top of the camper and hanging out in it reading a book to see where or if it's leaking? Finding leaks in a roof can be tough and very frustrating.
I had similar discoloration(not as dark) on my first camper...
Well I have owned two campers and the first one seen thousands of wash board pot hole filled logging roads and extreme off road with lockers engaged and a set of chains on with zero issues with the camper! I often carried a canoe on top while beating the crap out of my Tacoma and Phoenix Pop Up...
First thing we do is leave the area. Second is if we can't leave quick enough......I know the anti's wont like this but a 12 gauge slug over the head to scare the bear works....generally in remote areas in the interior of British Columbia so no neighbors to worry about. Also all field...
I respectfully disagree......I have owned two of the campers. They incorporate some really amazing features and use some great parts. My first one was perfect!
Hmmmm.....was this trailer made before they started zinc priming there powder coating process I wonder? However the rust looks like its from rock chips which would happen on those points of impact no matter what. Big tires love to throw rocks. Any way they are nice trailers.....your nose box...
Hi Lost-Adventurer.....how long have you had your Ruger trailer for? Reason I ask is I'm curious to the length of time before the powder coating on the frame started to rust? Were the Roto Pax water can mounts & propane tank a factory install or was it a DIY? If so can you provide more...
I purchased my second Phoenix Pop Up Camper this last fall. Custom design to fit my application up in Central British Columbia. I had an issue where Phoenix was supplied the wrong 20,000 btu furnace by the manufacturer. Obviously not their fault. Furnace worked, just not perfectly and owning...
About two years. No issues. Its pretty simple and tough! I really like it. My girls have very long thick hair and this unit has enough pressure to blast out the conditioner and knots so brushing is a breeze. No tears makes the hot juggz one of the best camping luxuries I have bought. I...
Phoenix pop up here with double insulation for the north and another vote for the fantastic fan. Also easy to have the lift rods half way collapsed with the Phoenix and have a long string that I loop into the window cover and then give it a gentle pull while collapsing. Only ever used that...
ARB Fridge. Hotjuggz for shower, tools, sealed food boxes, wheels that match tow vehicle and spare tire for trailer, back up lights on trailer, extra fuel can holders, multi axis coupler.
Hi Davey,
My bumpers are the prototype models that CBI built for my application. However they have several designs. The front bumper was "Sam's Bumper" design, The rear was "Steve's Rear Bumper Design # 1". They can make you a set....give them a call. Awesome people to work with! The...
