    Advice From All You Medics

Did you enjoy ACLS? We are doing PHTLS first before we jump into cardiac. The cardiac test for us is a deal breaker. If you dont get an 80 or above it is an automatic failure. I am looking forward to interpreting strips though.

More power to both of you. I would love to get out to Arizona some time. I think it will be a year before I get anywhere though.

I finished with a 90% overall for the first trimester and I was very happy about that! Congrats on your IV sticks, now you start...

    Camo Truck Kits

Camo is very daring. If you are going to do the camo thing I think you need to think it through and do it very well. It can be a redneck disaster or it can be extremely cool. At one time I thought about using vinyl for a digital desert graphic on one of my trucks but I chickened out.

    Chrysler filling bankruptcy??

Lol, exactly what I was thinking. Jeep might not be the most reliable but that would be a step down. Not bashing LandRovers, they are very cool, just not as reliable as some others.

    Questionable 4Runner?

Another good point, that was in the back of my mind. If the 3.4 went out that early he probably doesnt take care of his stuff. Also with an $8 or $9,000 cap You should be able to find an excellent 3rd gen 4runner, low miles, all factory (no buddy builds) manual with a locker. Also, unless...

    Questionable 4Runner?

I would hold off on that one. We were in the market a few months ago and I found some that were simularly priced but with better history as well. I would rather have a factory 3.4 with 170XXX on it than a new one that was installed by some shade tree mechanic. That is a very good motor from the...

    Advice From All You Medics

I know how you feel. We are at the end of our 1st out of 3 sections. I have been treading water for the past two tests but managed to get out with an 87 and an 85. I am really looking forward to the next section starting with Trauma. I am going to re-group and hit section two hard.

Question for people who bought NEW Toyotas

A lot of Jeep dealerships do this sort of thing. The Chevy dealership near my house actually does full customizations a good bit too. The problem I see with it is the cost that these things add to the vehicle. All the dealership mods that I have seen have been priced ridiculously high. My...

    Best expo tyre?

Funny that this title fits in with the ExPo word thread.:sombrero: I wish I could give you some advice but I have no experience with a 6x6 type vehicle. My only experience with tires in the 38-39" range is with mud trucks and that is definitely not the kind of tire what you want. I was checking...

    I'm back in a Toyota!!!

Thanks, I like the old warn grill guards. Im glad I found one intact. The power steering is whining and spitting because it is routed through the horribly designed anti-lock brake system. The ABS is malfunctioning and it is putting too much back pressure on the power steering pump. I am...

When did BFGoodrich discontinue the 33-9.5s?

Just mounted a set of 33x9.50 ATs. They wernt BFGs though. I did not like them. I felt they were too narrow for my purposes. I am looking for 33X10.50s now. If anyone is interested in the 9.50s I know where a brand new set is for $450 mounted balanced out the door.

    I'm back in a Toyota!!!

Just wanted to give an update if anyone is still interested. I picked up a Warn winch mount/brushguard for my 8,000lb winch yesterday. Here's a picture of one (not my truck): I also ordered a Lock Right rear locker, and it should be in this week. I will be locked and winch ready by the weekend!

Show us your Toyota 4runner, tacoma or truck.

Like the truck man. I have always liked built 1st gens. What type and size tires are on it in the 2nd picture? Are they 33x10.50s?
