I wouldn't want to up & down my 10x10 Kodiak everyday; not because its difficult but more of an issue of time. Some of that has to do with the fact we use a MegaMat Duo10.

FWIW The Chef King handles are not "loose" but rather have enough tension on them (hinge) to stay at the angle you put them ... and not even a consideration relative to all things rattling. Their griddles are very well thought out and constructed.

Too bad Partner doesn't utilize griddle handles like Chef King uses on their steel griddle. OTOH the Chef King carbon steel griddle is, overall, more useful cooking at home and on the trail alike for me. The hard anodized PS griddle spreads the heat from the relatively small PS stove burners...

You could even use a bolt instead of more expensive thumbscrews. I suggest using the longest bolt/thumbscrew the stove can store; I used 2-1/2" long thumbscrews and they give plenty of leveling ability for most normal camp use. Link to mine here...

Another advantage to this type of heater: You don't have the propane flame source inside the vessel. Propane (and NG) contributes considerable water vapor.
