    Do's and Don'ts

My kids loved having two-way radios when we were camping, and inflatable water toys (if you're near H2O) are always a blast! Your title also asked for "don'ts"...IMHO don't bring electronic devices.

Opinions on Condition (based on these photos)

Well said... I'd also ask about all of the oil below the motor on the passenger side... Good Luck

    Stoves??

So true...and it will help start your campfire in wet conditions if needed.

    Stoves??

If you use your stove during "four season" camping (into the winter), I'd stick with the Coleman. White gas will fire up in all temps., and you can always use fuel from jerry cans if you run out of white gas! My grandfather's Coleman that I inherited is still running strong... Cheers

WTB-Heavy duty rear springs and shocks 3rd gen

You are correct, I didn't read the post carefully enough...I was referring to King springs (USA). ..wondering how bad they hit you for shipping from Australia. IIRC, the HD springs from OME are a constant load spring that requires about 200lbs to engage. Cheers

WTB-Heavy duty rear springs and shocks 3rd gen

Kings are certainly top-shelf, however the OME HD springs have worked very well hauling a rig full of gear for many years. The progressive spring rate is great when you have an unladen vehicle, but the price point is kept me away from the Kings. Cheers

"Yoshi" - 2005 Limited Build & Adventure Thread

Well done! I've enjoyed this mod now for many years, and it has made a huge difference when driving in very dusty conditions. I normally clean/change the filters when I service the air filter. The last pressure vent that is left are the vents under the door jabs... (IIRC there are pressure vents...

    3rd Gen Lifts

Although there are "better options" for the Gen. III, the cost ramps up quickly when looking into other options. If cost is a concern, Bilsteins are reasonable option. Cheers

    3rd Gen Lifts

Does Bilstein make a 5100 for the Gen. 3? Do they make a rear 5100 shock with a stem top mount and eye bottom mount (if I recall, this was a sticking point with the 5100)? I've gone through a few OME rear shocks...seal failures. I'm now running the Bilstein 4600 B6 in the rear with OME HD...

    Help!!! Where does it go???

It is quite easy to extend the breather line. I used fuel line and a Toyota differential breather and extended it to the top of the fire wall. Also extended the transmission and transfer case breathers to the same location...these are a bit hard to get at, but worth it IMHO. Cheers

    Help!!! Where does it go???

I know where you are coming from...I'd also add making it a '75 or older if you live in California...the smog nightmare disappears.

    Post your Mitsubishi Pajero Pics

Congrats on the find, and welcome aboard! Did you test the solenoids to verify they were not working? I would recommend starting with fresh fluid in the transfer case (fresh fluids are usually a good start with a new/used rig). Cheers

    Looking for AT Tires

My kid's '86 Toy. p/u has General AT/X ... the other kid is running General AT3 on their '94 Geo Tracker They seem to be solid for how they're used (80-85% on highway). Both sets balanced well and are wearing great. Cost is reasonable. I'm running Cooper ST Maxx...second set, and will purchase...
