So reading between the lines here it appears two paths crossed. Dion's path of trying to kickstart his vision of the XP crossed with Mike's path that the current configuration had some issues and those issues would require a hefty facelift. I can see how the marriage was formed.

Ah ok. I have seen video of max trax (somewhat) bridging the front axle of a fuso. If that is what you are calling strength, these seem to fold of at the curb per Allan's photos. No knock on the product , just trying to understand your comment.
For me if I were buying, here would be my equation: cost of an 85,000 mile 2008 FJ - cost of a new engine. You come out ahead dollar wise as you end up with a new engine, but that should work itself out with transmission and suspension requirements that 325k miles brings to the table. YMMV

BTW I was chatting with Mike and remember saying that I think that a pop up tent as you have shown is...
Ok here is the scoop. The last trip we took in the truck was down to central Cali. While boondocking in Paso Robles I went for a walking morning and brought back several feathers I had found. It appears some of these were still in the truck upon delivery to Paul. Turkeys you say? Ok.
Yes it does look better. I saw my first one on the road last week. It looked very odd indeed; kinda funny actually, like a lift kit on a stock jeep. Bigger and wider wheels would put things back in proportion.
That really is a credit to paul. I am a pretty functional guy. And most all the rigs I see are functional. And I am good with that. However paul wanted to create a really nice space, that was warm and welcoming; a place beyond functional that would really be enjoyable to be in. I am very...
I am in the market. Too many choices. Seems like all of these from cheap to expensive appear to work about the same, with the exception of breakage. These seem flexy enough not to break, but clearly not a bridge candidate. I like the added length. Do these have differing height studs? I...
500 ah's. Ok that is what I thought, just wanted to make sure.

Not sure if it applies to the Lithium discussion or not. I have a lithium battery in my Moto and the method of 'tender' charging of that unit, which may be similar to solar charging in concept, is considerably different than a...
I am as well. Can someone school me. I have two 250 ah batteries tied together in my 12v system . How many ah do I have. Damn his sounds like a middle school math word problem.
The instahot is powered through the inverter. It remains active while the inverter is on. Once the water has reached temp it shuts off. When you draw water, more water is added and it heats on demand. The unit is insulated very well, and I was surprised that the water remained hot long after...
